Dave Hindle from Zedcore treated Team St Helena to their final meal in Capetown before their return to the Island after their excursions to Nigeria.
In their attempts to secure sponsorship to help support the teams international games and subsequent subsistence before returning to St Helena, Zedcore, one of the islands leading procurement and freight forwarding companies rose to the challenge and prior to departure had sponsored the shipment of the teams kit from South Africa to St Helena and then offered the team an evening out at the end of the tour.
A very pleasant evening was selected at Ala Turkish, an upmarket Turkish Restaurant in the heart of Capetown.
Dave (who has worked directly with St Helena for more than 30 years) who was on a tight schedule flew from Johannesburg to be with the team and enjoyed every minute of it, also catching up with some members of the team who he already knew and in recognition was presented with a commemerative bat.
St Helena Cricket thanks Dave and Zedcore for their generous donation and looks forward to their support in the future.
