Team St Helenas 2 lost kit bags were finally re united with their owners yesterday, two days later than the team.
Two of the teams kit bags, somehow got misplaced during the journey from Johannesburg to Abuja, during the transit in Addis Ababa.
However immediate inquiries with the airline, ensured that the bags arrived at the team hotel just 48hrs later.
” It was quite a relief” said Derek, the team manager, “and we are pleased it made it, knowing the language barriers that had to be over come”.
This was the final piece in the jigsaw as the team prepares for the start of the tournament at the weekend.
