Jordi Henry top scores for St Helena.

An unlucky morning for St Helena as they were hampered by the rain and failed to overcome Malawi in their penultimate game of the tournament.

What started a bright morning was affected by thunderstorms shortly after the toss, in which Malawi had won and sent St Helena to bat

As the rain came, on went the covers and play was delayed for more than an hour.

Both Malawi and St Helena eager to get the game started after the downpours assisted the ground staff in removing the covers to get underway.

Restricted to a T5 game, St Helena scored 37 with Jordi Henry top scoring with 17, leaving Malawi with a target of 38. This they managed in 4 overs with Sami Sohail top scoring with 23.

Tomorrow St Helena faces Botswana in the morning which will be their last game of the tournament.
