Jordan Yon was key in St Helenas first win of the tournament where the Ivory Coast was beaten by 10 wickets and ultimately picking up the Player of the Match award.
Ivory Coast batted first, but found the bowling from Barry Stroud and Scott Crowie in the early stages of the game difficult to deal with.
They were defiant at the crease, but unable to make any significant impact to their score and throughout, never looked like posting a challenging score for St Helena.
An impressive spell of 4 overs, 4 wickets for 3 runs saw Jordan wrap up the game and sealing the elusive points for St Helena.
That was the last game of the tournament for the Saints and all were in high spirits having established themselves in the table following a tough run of results.
Today the team leaves Nigeria, leaving behind memories, new found friends and a wide range of experiences, but taking a step closer to St Helena.
On the journey back to the island there are still formal team activities planned which we will cover for you on this blog and our social media platforms.
