Yesterday (Wednesday) was the team’s final day of training and we were fortunate enough to have a session on the second field.
Again an early start which saw a varied selection of fielding skills and finishing with batting practise in the available nets.
Initially it was planned to do some sightseeing in the afternoon, but the team opted to just relax in the sun and continue their acclimatization.
The Wetlands Hotel is fairly well equipped with a pool and a gym and poolside cooking. Yes… Unfortunately we were not allowed to cook ourselves as it was against their policy, however they did provide us with their version of a BBQ “Suya”.
The evening was spent with some of the players enjoying a game or games of Euchre.
