Having led Team St Helena to Botswana in 2018, Scott Crowie has been selected for the second time to lead the Island team in an international tournament.
At the age of 32, Scott Crowie has been performing in the local leagues here in St Helena for the past 18 years, making his debut with St Matthews A, before moving to Jamestown Heat and for the past few years becoming a pivotal part of the Challengers Cricket Team, winning back to back titles and including an unbeaten season.
Whilst Scott has led Team St Helena on two occasions, he also traveled as a player in 2012 to Benoni and his side claimed a 3rd place finish in Gaborone, where he also picked up 3 players of the match awards.
An all-round cricketer, being a left-handed batsman and a right arm off spin bowler, Scott will be backed by his young family, Penny, Holly, and James, all of St Helena and of course the St Helena diaspora as Scott will lead his team onto the international stage, hoping for the opportunity to qualify for the next stage.
