Mo Mather today completes a 7 day visit to St Helena hosted by the St Helena Cricket Association.
Mo has visited St Helena 3 times previously and on this occasion has been working with the national cricket team.
During the week that he has been on island, Mo has conducted fitness and Cricket skills sessions with the players and delivered training on an individual basis.
Speaking about the potential of the current team, Mo said that cricket on St Helena has developed tremendously over the past 6 – 8 years and he is confident of “Team St Helena” performing well in Botswana later this year.
Now that Mo has left the Island, Dax Richards will oversee the skills training whilst Fitness Coach Martin and Physios Cecil and Bradley will ensure that the team is in the best possible condition when they travel for the competition.
From the South African end Mo will continue to work remotely with the team, discussing training plans with them and helping with individual needs.
